SATC2 Watch (Spoilerish)

Let's check in with the ladies again, shall we?

Okay, that's insane.

Kim single handedly destroys the maxim that women over 35 shouldn't wear mini-skirts, Cynthia looks great, we saw SJP's look before, and Kristin looks awful.

She's definitely still rocking the bod and she's got nothing to be embarrassed about, but this look strikes us a little cheap and desperate for Samantha.

Pat Field keeps returning to the same style and silhouette for Miranda but we can't deny this looks great on her. Like we said before, she spent years dressing her in ugly and unflattering outfits so we can't complain too much if she's returning to the same well too many times.

Honestly? We think this is awful, which is strange because Charlotte was the one character Field always dressed perfectly. Granted, Charlotte's not hard to dress because her character basically wore that Park Avenue Princess uniform unceasingly. Field also has a tendency to either go insanely clashy-clash or insanely matchy-match. We'll take the former over the latter. It's just not that interesting when a woman's dress, bag and shoes are all the same color.

Alright, scroll down and have fun with all the details. That's about all we've got to say.

In or Out: Kristin Davis

Darlings, we have tons to do today and the coffee's not working as well as it should be, so let's start the week off with an easy one.

Kristin Davis attends the "Chocolat au Vin" benefit for St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital at Capitale in New York City in Oscar de la Renta.

Why so grim, Kristin? Listen, stylists are a dime a dozen. Just set this one out to pasture and you can start interviewing new ones immediately. Clearly, whoever dressed you in that deserves to be worrying about where their next check is coming from.

See? There's a nice, tight smile! Who's a trouper?

It's not a bad dress - it's not a great dress, mind you, but it's not the worst we've seen. The problem is, whoever's dressing you lately is making the mistake of not dressing YOU. It's a look that does nothing for you, hon. You are a beautiful woman with classic good looks and a lovely figure; you're not a 6-foot-tall, willowy 22-year-old model. It's a realization most of us have had to come to and now it's your turn.

So, what's the problem? Skirt's too full and too long; bodice doesn't look very comfortable on you; the whole style of the look looks wrong on you, AND they paired your black dress with a pair of rather plain black shoes and a black clutch. Plus that makeup and hair? Fire them, sweetie. Rip it off like a bandaid and move on with your life.

OUT.

In or Out: Kristin Davis

Kristin Davis attends the 1st Historic Health Summit Gala held at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California wearing an Oscar de la Renta dress and Judith Leiber clutch.

This illustrates what we like to call NTDFY: Not The Dress For You. It's a perfectly fine dress and there's no reason for her not to wear it. Sure, it makes her look a little hippy, but that's no crime. No, it just sort of hangs there, doing nothing for her. Is it her coloring? Her hair? Maybe just a case of it not being her style? After all, she usually looks best in the kind of Park Avenue Princess getups she wore on Sex and the City. It would have been tough to be her stylist in this situation. How do you tell your client that the dress is pretty, but something about her just makes it look dull?

For us, she's neither in or out. She doesn't look bad per se, but considering how much work was put into making her look good for this event (the cost of the dress, shoes, and bag, plus the cost and effort for hair and makeup), which is on par with what the average woman spends on herself for her wedding day, the effect is kinda blah.
