Okay, first the bitchiness: We've always been completely befuddled by this gal's career. Granted, she's not exactly A-List, but for someone with so little talent (really, she's a pretty mediocre actress) and such average looks, she manages to still get a lot of work.

Having said that, if she went around looking like this more often, we'd understand it, because we don't think she's ever looked so good. And we don't mean that simply as a compliment to whoever styled the shoot or made her up (although whoever did so did a pretty good job). It's more about her showing an attitude and a sexiness that we've never really seen her show before. You know how bitchy we can be about actresses trying to be models, but she really nailed it here. Additionally, the dresses are gorge and we kind of love the whole idea of a fashion editorial in a supermarket. All in all, one of the best actress editorials we've seen in a while.

Bitches got a movie to sell.

Marie Claire dabbles in fiction:

"Jennifer Garner and Jessica Biel bonded while filming Valentine's Day and have been friends ever since. On a rare girls' night out, the stars dish about the difficulties of (usually) being the only woman on set, the pros and cons of having a famous significant other, and whether or not either of them really "has it all."

Look, Marie Claire, they've got a movie to sell and you've got some dresses to move, so we really don't have to go along with the "two new best friends on a 'rare' girls' night out" plotline. You know why it's rare? Because they're not friends! It's okay. Just show us the dresses and we'll continue believing the far more entertaining soap opera in our head where all movie stars are vicious, grasping schemers who would sell their children for a cover or a nomination. It's more fun that way.

Irina in Marie Claire

One last look back at Season 6 before we dive into Season 7.

S6 winner Irina Shabayeva got her Marie Claire spread and had a few things to say. Highlights:

"So many women are afraid of the bitch word, but you've got to go for what you want. It's not going to be handed to you."

"The workroom was always tense, but then Kalyn would come in all smiles, and I was like, 'I want to live in your world!' She gave me a sense of relief and hope."

"I am fascinated with flight! Planes, birds, butterflies — I love the freedom that they symbolize."
