Oh How Summery!

I love summery days in spring, where the sun shines in the afternoon and it feels like it's the middle of a British summer.
So I put on my gorgeous new maxi dress, and took some outfit photos OUTSIDE! (it was a special occasion!)

I've chosen mainly short dresses for this article because as much as long, huge prom dresses are beautiful and look amazing on the night, are you really going to wear it again? I think I'd rather have a dress for prom and that it can be worn to several formal events like weddings and posh dinners and so on!

Vintage & Stripey.

I've always loved stripes. I have a collection of stripey jumpers, so I thought i'd test out this seasons nautical trend and try a stripey dress. This dress i'm wearing is new season from Goddiva one of my favourite online fashion stores, I love how affordable their clothes are!

What I love about this dress is that It has long sleeves, it's a tight fitting bodycon dress and I could wear it for day wear or evening wear!
For day wear - dressed down with a pair of plain black leggings and flats.
For evening wear - With lots of jewellery, A black Blazer, Plain Black Leggings & Heels!

How to wear sequin leggings.

I never thought you could wear sequins both ways, for casual day-wear and for evening-wear too, so I thought i'd test this theory out myself thanks to Goddiva a really lovely online clothing store, which sell so many gorgeous clothes which i like to loathe over. So I had to get my hands on these Sequin Leggings, currently retailing at an affordable price of £19! I just had to get myself a pair!

So, for the day-wear look I went for teaming my new Sequin Leggings with a floral top! I think these look great together!


For evening-wear I've teamed the Sequin Leggings with a new buy, lace top from Missguided.
I feel these two garments together make a perfect party outfit, also a great pair of heels too!


Perfect for a night out on the town, or just going to a party and you want to look nice, lace top and sequin leggings with heels is a perfect outfit choice for this season!
